Conformance Target
PizzaApp Pro aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and chapter 11 of EN 301 549, the European standard for the accessibility of information and communication technology. Level AAA is not a target.
Status
The App is partially conformant: most of it meets the standard, and the exceptions below are known rather than discovered.
What Is Supported
- Screen readers — TalkBack on Android, VoiceOver on iOS — with every control named and its state announced.
- Operation without dragging: every slider and picker can also be stepped with buttons or typed into.
- The system text size, up to 200 %, and the system dark mode.
- The system's reduced-motion setting, which stops decorative animation.
- Touch targets of at least 48 dp on controls that stand on their own.
- Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
Known Limitations
- The browser version draws into a canvas. Screen-reader support there comes from the Compose Multiplatform framework rather than from native HTML elements, and is less complete than in the Android and iOS apps. Where the browser gives you trouble, the installed app is the better route.
- One typographic detail ignores the text-size setting. A font axis used for display headings cannot follow it on the browser and iOS versions, for a technical reason in the rendering engine. Body text is unaffected and scales normally.
